Input/Output has actively showcased new media artworks from international artists since 2009; projects comprising science, technology and creativity, and always aim to bring in various cutting edges programmes to public space.
In order to celebrate this upcoming fantastic Art Week in Hong Kong, I/O and VM27 co-host an event titled “The Factory” at SHOW club in Central on 15th May, which provides a platform for the art and music enthusiasts to explore the infinity of creativity. The Factory is a petri dish for the industry elites, through the experimental live gigs and screen based artworks screening, a precedent creative hub where the artists, musicians, designers and creators is borned. The Factory, is also the name of Andy Warhol's New York City Studio, we sincerely pay tributes to this creative hub.
The Factory will be displaying the screenbased works including GALAMAN by Lau Kwun-yiu, Johnee (sliver prize winner awarded by 17th ifva) and electronic musician & audio-visual artist Choi Sai Ho’s “Move”. Meanwhile, there will be a live band show by celebrated e:ch & the forgottens、AWI and Neue Setie as well as DJ performance by DJ Jason F, Jimo, Gie and Martins B.
